Join Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Club with Triton Construction for an exclusive site visit to the new classroom college block for Luminate College, Temple Newsam.
The proposal seeks to create additional teaching and learning space for the staff and students at the School of Animal Care and Land Management, part of Leeds City College.
The works includes the development of a new build education facility and refurbishment of Rose Lodge within the Temple Newsam Gardens.
The new building is to be design and built, following the principles of, and reaching the Passiv Haus standard. The building will feature a structural timber frame, with a timber structure, zinc cladded roof.
Rose Lodge, part of the Grade 2 listed walled gardens, is to be refurbished and repurposed into an office building. This also requires structural repairs.
Works are being carried out in the curtilage of a conservation area with involvement from archaeologists (due to being in the vicinity to Colton Medieval Village) and ecologists.
