Thank you to every one of you who supported, attended and judged for this year's Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber awards - it really was truly a night to remember!
The Constructing Excellence Awards continue to be a celebration of everything the Built Environment has to be proud of and we hope you will join us in wishing our individual category winners all the success at the Constructing Excellence National Awards in Autumn.
Want to be part of 2026? Here is everything you need to know.
Organised by the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University, the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire and Humber Awards focus attention on some of the most important issues in the construction sector.
All types of organisations enter our awards each year including private and public sector, micro, SME and large contractors, designers, consultants, clients and suppliers; in fact anyone who is part of the built environment’s extended family. It is completely free to enter and the winners of each of our regional awards categories then go to represent Yorkshire and Humber at the national Constructing Excellence Awards later in the year.
WHY GET INVOLVED?
These awards have always been more than just an opportunity to celebrate with your teams. They are about showcasing the organisations, projects and talent across the region that are delivering excellence, driving change and inspiring others to adopt new and better ways of working.

Finding out you have cancer changes your life, and the weeks after diagnosis can be the most difficult and challenging. If you or someone you love has cancer you may have lots of questions, like how your treatment may make you feel, if it will affect how you look, or what to do if you have any financial worries.
Welcome to Maggie's Yorkshire
Whatever kind of cancer, and whatever stage you’re at – we're here for you.
Our centre in Yorkshire is a space for being together or for a moment alone, for getting going again or for meeting people who just get it.
All our cancer support specialists have expert knowledge about cancer and treatment, and many are NHS-trained.
The kettle's already on – just come in.
Maggie's Yorkshire is based at St James Hospital in Leeds but we provide services for cancer patients and their families across the region.
